We were memorizing the verse James 4:6 in Good News Club (children's Bible class) on Tuesday. Mom had the kids saying the verse over and over to memorize it and then having them "recite" the verse. One shy little boy named Taylor in my class (Kindergarten to First grade) began quoting the verse...."God resisteth the proud but giveth bracelets unto the humble." I can't help but wonder exactly what kind of bracelet was he thinking God gives!??!

Cute! But you do wonder what's going through those little minds. Reminds me of when Zach thought "He is exalted" was "He is exhausted!!" LOL! I had to tell him, "No honey...that's ME that's exhausted!!"
When I was a kid, the thing pastors say as they baptize....I thought it was "buried with Christ in baptism, and raised to walk in the EUNICE of life" (should be newness). I don't know who I thought Eunice was, but they sure talked about her alot at church!
When we sang "Victory in Jesus" as kids, rather than 'He sought me and bought me' my sister thought we were saying 'He socked me and bopped me'! and then 'He lumped me ere I knew Him'! What a violent God we served!
